A Message from Pastor Nick
Welcome to Goodrich United Methodist Church! Our roots in this community date back to 1836. While our name and buildings have changed, our belief in God's grace for all remains the same.
Today, we are a welcoming congregation where everyone can worship freely. At GUMC, we recognize that we are all God’s children—including you. Through worship, study, and service, we strive to grow in faith and share God’s love with our neighbors.

What's Happening
Jesus tells us the kingdom of God is at hand, so what does that look like? We, at GUMC, are giving people a glimpse of it every day. Join in on Sunday and see what I mean.
Revelation 7:9-17
Hurley Pediatric Foundation Project: May is the collection time for the Hurley Foundation project. A table can be found in the back of the sanctuary from May 5 to May 21.
To participate in this mission, we are looking for donations of children’s books, coloring and puzzle books with colored pencils or washable markers, new stuffed animals, fleece lap blankets, and baby blankets.
When a child is sick or needs a treatment, items of comfort like a stuffed animal or blanket can make that experience a little easier. You can play a small part in this mission with your donations. Any questions, call Joy Rossman or the church office.
Caring for Our Community: United Women in Faith takes action to support women, children, and families in need. Our mission to make sleeping bags requires sheets and neckties. We create 4–5 bags weekly, each with a health kit, and donate them to Strength in Numbers and Love Inc., Lapeer.
You can help by donating clean health kit items or contributing to Goodrich UWF. We also recycle blankets, comforters, and fabric. Rising costs now exceed $3,000 annually, so monetary donations are greatly appreciated. Please spread the word; this need continues to grow!
Strength In Numbers: This month we are asking to help restock the pantry for veterans with the following items: toilet paper, paper towel, kleenex, hand soap, cleaners, band aids, men razors and shaving cream. Items can be placed in the bins that are at the church, Brown's, and Sims.

Worship Service - 9:45
Experience our worship service filled with music (traditional and contemporary), meaningful liturgy, and a warm and welcoming congregation. You can also join online through the Media and Events link above.
Fellowship Time - 10:45 - 11:00 AM
Join us for Fellowship Time each week. Coffee and treats are provided ... making it a great environment to socialize.
Sunday School - 11:00 AM
Join us for Sunday School each week with classes for youth and adults.
