Carriage Town provides food for the hungry, free clothing to those in need, addiction recovery and education, and helps with job placement. The East Winds District will be hosting a mission opportunity with a Spirit Lake Mission Trip to North Dakota. This is the first in what they hope will be a long-standing relationship with the Spirit Lake Nation and the Spirit Lake Ministry Center. The trip is open to anyone 14 years and older and will take place, July 23 – 31, 2023. Travel will be through the UP and across northern Wisconsin, Minnesota, and into central North Dakota. The mission group will be honored to be there during their annual Powwow celebration. Please consider how you might be a part of this great mission which includes light construction such as building wheelchair ramps, painting, roofing and minor repair for the elderly and persons with disability from the Spirit Lake Nation.
