Update regarding Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

July 2020
Please remember that while we have resumed office hours and staff have returned to work in the building, we are asking that unless you have business that must be done in-person, that you take care of business by phone or email.

If you do come to the building either during office hours or not during office hours, you must wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, they are available upon entrance. Please do not forget that the church is a public building and we currently have an Executive Order from our Governor asking people to wear a mask when they are in a public building, so that includes our church.

We are also keeping track of who comes into the building in case we do have a case of Covid-19 and need to inform people that may have been exposed. If you enter the building after hours, please sign in using the sign-in sheet that is on the table next to the masks and hand sanitizer.

Thank you for helping us to keep a good record of all that have been in our building.

Beginning on June 15, 2020 our office hours will resume. Every person that comes in will be required to wear a mask and keep social distance.

There still will be:

  • No in-person worship.
  • People will not be able to use the walking track.

What you need to know:
  • We are still doing ministry. If you need pastoral care, this can be set up by phone or video conference. Reach out to Pastor Joel.
  • Worship is still happening. It will continue to be available online both streaming on YouTube and Facebook. The link will be on our website and Facebook page. Additionally, people may listen to the audio of the service if they do not have internet by calling: (518) 801-1336.
  • The GAP (Goodrich Area Pantry) is still available. If you or someone you know is struggling at this time and needs food, they can contact GAP by phone or e-mail.
  • We are still the church. Though we are still not gathering in person, it does not mean we are not united. Now is a great time to consider sending a note or making a call to someone in the church just to connect and remind one another that we are together in this and we will get through this time together. We will be coming back together soon. Stay tuned for more information.
