Update regarding Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

On March 23, 2020, Governor Gretchen Whitmer put a Stay-at-Home Order in place to begin at midnight on March 24, 2020. This means that starting on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Goodrich United Methodist Church will be closed completely until at least April 13, 2020.

What this means:

  • The office is closed.
  • No in-person events will be held at the church at all.
  • People will not be able to use the walking track.

What you need to know:

  • We are still doing ministry. If you need pastoral care, this can be set up by phone or video conference. Reach out to Pastor Joel.
  • Worship is still happening. It will be online as it has been for the last couple of weeks. The link will be on our website and Facebook page.
  • The online Show & Tell is still happening tomorrow at 11:00 AM. Join either by computer/tablet or by phone and enter Meeting ID 651-976-888 followed by #.
  • The online Bible Study is still happening Thursday at 2:00 & 7:30 PM. Join either by computer/tablet or by phone and enter Meeting ID 320-531-666 followed by #.
  • The GAP (Goodrich Area Pantry) is still available. If you or someone you know is struggling at this time and needs food, they can contact GAP by phone or e-mail.
  • We are still the church. Though we cannot gather, it does not mean we are not united. Now is a great time to consider sending a note or making a call to someone in the church just to connect and remind one another that we are together in this and we will get through this time together.
