Update regarding Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

In-Person Worship
We now have an in-person worship service on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in the GUMC Family Life Center Gym. This service is limited to 60 people. (This is in addition to our online service, not as a replacement).

Everyone will be asked to wear a mask. There will be no congregational singing. People are not required to RSVP for the service, however, we ask people to let us know if they are planning to attend so that we can arrange chairs ahead of time. You can let us know you’re planning to attend during office hours (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) by phone (810) 636-2444 or email office@goodrichumc.org. Registration is not required, however, please note that if you do not let us know you are coming and we reach our limit of 60, you will be turned away. If you have reserved a seat, we will save it for you.

Building Use
We are opening up certain parts of the building for usage. The dining room has a maximum of 10 people allowed and the gym has a maximum of 30 people allowed. People or groups that do use the facility must wear masks, no food or drink is allowed and social distancing of 6′ must be maintained.

If you do come to the building either during office hours or not during office hours, you must wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, they are available upon entrance. Please do not forget that the church is a public building and we currently have an Executive Order from our Governor asking people to wear a mask when they are in a public building, so that includes our church.

We are also keeping track of who comes into the building in case we do have a case of Covid-19 and need to inform people that may have been exposed. If you enter the building after hours, please sign in using the sign-in sheet that is on the table next to the masks and hand sanitizer.

Thank you for helping us to keep a good record of all that have been in our building.

The GAP
The GAP (Goodrich Area Pantry) is still available. If you or someone you know is struggling at this time and needs food, they can contact GAP by phone or e-mail.

You can email the church office at office@goodrichumc.org if you have questions or need any assistance.
