Update regarding Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

On March 23, 2020, Governor Gretchen Whitmer put a Stay-at-Home Order in place to begin at midnight on March 24, 2020. The order has been extended until May 28, 2020. This means that Goodrich United Methodist Church will remained closed completely until at least May 28, 2020.

What this means:

  • The office is closed.
  • No in-person events will be held at the church at all.
  • People will not be able to use the walking track.

What you need to know:

  • We are still doing ministry. If you need pastoral care, this can be set up by phone or video conference. Reach out to Pastor Joel.
  • Worship is still happening. It will continue to be available online both streaming on YouTube and Facebook. The link will be on our website and Facebook page. Additionally, people may listen to the audio of the service if they do not have internet by calling: (518) 801-1336.
  • The GAP (Goodrich Area Pantry) is still available. If you or someone you know is struggling at this time and needs food, they can contact GAP by phone or e-mail.
  • We are still the church. Though we cannot gather, it does not mean we are not united. Now is a great time to consider sending a note or making a call to someone in the church just to connect and remind one another that we are together in this and we will get through this time together.
